Dont mean to flame you, but you say that you are not a crab and the next moment you bring up religion, faith, Indian etc and associate that to IV's
goal.
Whats wrong in that are they not the guiding principles of living life. when we all get angry about not getting the GC, this same faith and values keep us sane. I associate these with IV so that God can give them strength to succed. we will give our donations to support that.

The reason Yates memo talks about significant wage diff is to determine whether job classification is the same. It is possible that someone working in IT as a programmer starts his own company/switches to another IT company and starts to do business development. Now there would be significant wage diff coz BDev people get paid more than an IT professional. In such a case USCIS would not allow AC21.
One quick question about salary limitation. Where is this mentioned. I went through the following link posted on this thread earlier ( see below). It says clearly no restrictions on wage. Please suggest, why is this a issue.

Well they will easily find out from your SSN number if one is on payroll or not. I am seriously looking into this matter of getting illegal and many of my friends agree. Once the bill passes in its current form we should get advise from a good lawyer to convert status from legal to illegal. It sounds so insane when I say changing for legal to illegal..but that is the hit thing these days.
I might offend a few here but I see an obvious analogy and I am going to point it
Converting from legal to illegal is like in India You did not get admission through regular/normal seat so one converts himself to SC,ST, OBC(reservation) and get admission through fake certificate :) at a lower percentage and no fees

1. If you are interested in knowing about IV very front page provide you ample of information
2. Understood there is only one bread earner, well you do pay 1000s of $ to fill stupid forms to lawyers. A fraction of that amount will produce bigger bang here at IV.
3. Some people here in IV are out of the job but still continuing on their mission. Unfortunately, cowards like you will also be benefited by their efforts.
4. If you really wanted to help, u could have started by joining the state chapter.

What I see alot of are #1 asking people to contribute and #2 members complaining about people asking their questions in the wrong area or opening too many threads. Someone needs to explain fully what Core is doing and list ways for the members to help. I would love to help if I can. Unfortunately I don't have a lot to offer financially being that my husband and I are living off one income. I wish I could go to the rally but I cant afford to do that either. There must be some way that I can help- stuffing envelopes or something- anything. But what I would love to see is an explanation of what it is the Core is trying to accomplish and a set of guidelines for posting if possible because I am so sick and tired of seeing "please close this thread"

I ve been paying all GC fees from the LC, company pays only H-1 fees.
For I-485 total expenditure as follows:
$1300- attorney fees
$300- doc fees
$200- other docs, vaccines, etc
USCIA appln fees for me & spouse for 485 765 131 ....
Lost hours at working for the medical and attorney appointments almost 24 hours * $40 = $816-
Sleepless nights filing forms & submitting on time = priceless ....

I think some of the people on this forum should be diagnosed for click’O’mania. Basically what it means is developing impatience and restlessness qualities as a result of using computer and mouse over an extended period of time. It makes a patient believe that results should be expected within few minutes after initiating any activity just like the click of a mouse does. Examples are on-line credit card payments, rental payments, electricity, telephone, cell phone, cable bill payments, money transfers to name a few. Over period of time when the patient gets used to these habits, he tries to extend the same logic to other walks of life. Expect results within few minutes. What the click’O’maniac does not understand is certain things in life requires some amount of time in terms of weeks and patience to complete. Even though he/she knows that USCIS is going to receive about � million applications by Aug 17th and receipting of 485 applications is going to take long time, he/she can not resist pressing F5 button on bank statement URL, USCIS press room URL, immigration voice URL, on line case status URL, email account URL and what not URLs. So, someone is trying to contact CSR every day about the receipt status, verifying if checks are cashed or checking LUD on previously approved certifications on hourly basis, it is not his or her fault. Culprit is this undiagnosed disease. If untreated, he/she may be desperate for the finger print notice date in near future. After the finger print notice date, it may be FP notice acceptance date or LUD on case status.
If treated, he realizes that how deep he went into this GC well and how far is away from life on earth and thanks his stars for not remaining as a frog in a well.
How to treat: Do your karma and do not expect results.

Hi All FP seekers! I do not know what exactly I am missing if there is a delay in FP. It looks like hundreds of IV members are too much worried because of the 'delay' in FP. Let me worry too (by knowing the big problem!). Can any worriers explain??
On the other hand is it not better to have a late FP, so that you need not go again in the next 15 months! Anyway for most people GC is going to take years!
It's the uncertainty of the entire process that kills us...Have seen couple of users whose cases have been erroneoulsy denied since they did not went for their biometrics. Guess what, these users never received any FP notice from USCIS. I tend to partially agree with you; if the PD is no where close to being current, why worry about FP now - it's their responsibility to get us finger printed. But on the other hand, I do not want my case to be erroneously denied because of an error in their processing...

Accessing IV forums after a long time... posting to this thread, though not predecting on VB's... May be the data that were made available through USCIS Home Page (http://www.uscis.gov) (http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/New%20Structure/3rd%20Level%20(Left%20Nav%20Children)/Green%20Card%20-%203rd%20Level/Pending%20Form%20I485%20Reports.pdf) already gave some hint on how the PD's are going to be in the monthly VB's and most people understand the number and are not predicting any good movement and not posting any on threads like this. Only the luckly EB2-I folks, who are getting a good chunk of the numbers for now thorugh spill over etc want to predict.. but again, too many questions there too... if quartely spillover or will happen in FY last quarter or something else... or ....
