I have an appointment set up with a doctor. However, the doctor is not listed as a USCIS authorized physician in the USCIS web site.
I called the doctor's office and they assure me that he does "immigration physicals" and has been doing them.( As a side note, there is another doctor in the same office who is on the approved list but he is on vacation)
Is the following website updated with list of eligible civil surgeons ? https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=CIV
Please advise.

Lately the members of IV have come to know that Aman Kapoor, the co-founder of IV has sold his house and spent around $64000/- towards the administrative costs of IV. This too was brought to our attention from a regular member like you and me, without which this would not have come to our knowledge at all.
So some of the members have taken an initiative to reimburse Aman and other core IV team members with the expenses they have incurred so far towards the administrative costs of IV. Note that the time they have spent and the sufferings cannot be compensated. Let us do the least by atleast compensating the money. Please do not donate directly to IV funds.
There is a funding drive in this other thread towards reimbursing the administrative costs of IV.

You are correct but I think I am not sure if one can change employer (H1B Transfer) during that 3 Year extended H1B period after 485 denial.
Total BS and Incorrect.
One can work on current H-1B (irrespective on basis it was approved), until the H-1B petition is revoked or canceled or expired. However, beneficiary is not eligible for new/extension of H-1B after I-485 denial.

There is nothing wrong with anyone getting a green card but the process should be fair. There is nothing fair about getting GC within 6 months while people are waiting in line for 6- 8 years. All those who are getting in 6 months - good for them but the system should address it fairly. Its high time they look into it specially with retrogession coming into the picture.

United Nations is right. Let�s say that there�s an employee with an approved I-140 + pending I-485 who switches his job using AC21 after 180 days. Now there are 2 possibilities here
1) Employer revokes I-140 (AC21 applicable here)
2) USCIS revokes I-140 (AC21 not applicable here)
Employer revokes I-140: In this case unless the employee had filed AC21 papers, I-485 is most likely to be denied as USCIS doesn�t have any record that the beneficiary still has similar or same job offer. Hence its advisable to file AC21 well in advance in such situations.
USCIS revokes I-140: At times USCIS might revoke a previously approved I-140 if the employer fails the �Ability to pay� test for all pending GC applications. This is more dangerous as the bonafide nature of the previous I-140 approval is in question now. Refer one of my old threads below on this topic.

Not to single you out, but why aren't people from the West willing to attend the rally?
1. Too much workload (cannot afford to take even 1 day off)
2. Cannot afford flying into DC, accomodation, etc.
3. I didn't attend the SJ rally, what will they say if I attend the DC rally;)
4. DC Rally is a waste of time, I do not support it
5. I don't have to have a green card, I can live without it, for the next 10 years!
6. I am happy to eat the fruit of someone else's hardwork, I don't want to put in any hardwork myself

Your AP is most likely approved. The LUD on AP is generally an indication that they have requested it to be printed. (Similar to card production ordered). Unlike EAD there is no status associated with this, in another few days you will see the status changed to Document Mailed to the Applicant. This is for everyone with LUD on AP without change in status.
Folks i got a LUD on my AP 7 days back and again LUD 5 days back. But the status didn't change nor i get any letter of so far.
Does this means i'm on my way to a RFE :) If they send RFE does that gets reflected on the Online Status ??

If they do that assuming 500K people apply for premium they can generate over 2.5billion dollars. Add to that all the investment this 500K people will make once they get their GC. Like buyin houses and makin other investments. All this should be brought in front of people so that they see there is a big advantage for them in us getting GC's

On August 21, 2007, we rejected your fingerprint fee and mailed you instructions for how to submit the necessary payment. This case is now in suspense.
Please submit your payment with our notice as soon as possible after you receive our notice so we may resume processing of this case.
But USCIS cashed my checks i didn't know what went worng the total amount i paid is 325+70,170,180.
Did any guys get same kind of problem?

I am GCBikari and I approve this message. You are saying you ran out of savings and in next paragraph you're talking about investments!! Anyway what I did was list out all minimum payments (rent/mortgage, car, utilities, groceries, gas). This gives the money needed every month in worst case. Then multiply by 6 months. Keep that amount in bank or a locker (now a days difficult to trust banks also!!). Then go for what others talk about like 401k, Roth IRA.. You will have a better start once you know how much you need per month to make a living on bare minimum.
My recommendation would be to build at least 6 months of emergency fund. Open an account with ING Direct or HSBC where they pay decent interest rate on a savigs account. Build the emergency fund first.
Once you have sufficient foundation, then I'd say start building investment foundation. If you employer has 4o1K plan, then start putting pre-tax dollars upto the maximum contribution at employer matches (generally it is 6%). If your employer doesn't have 401K plan, then open a ROTH IRA and start investing in low cost mutual funds or index funds. Vanguard is generally the best place to get low cost, no load funds. Once you max out both 4o1K and ROTH IRA, then start looking into opening a taxable individual investment account.
Hope this helps.

I'm on H1, I decided recently to buy a house after I stayed more than 5 years in this country and gave an offer to purchase it . I will drop now as I'm feeling unsecured in this country of immigrants and with it's protectionist policy against Indian Talents in this 21st century. It will also influence all of my friends who are also potentially looking to buy houses . I will not buy any stuff and influence all of my friends which costs every H1 holder to lead uncertain state of living in this country.

Movie is not focused on H1b quota. It would tell common public the real side stories of H1 people as they are focused now as job stealers (is wrong). The odds of that and how they struggle on H1 etc.

Should there not be a separate Green card quota for anyone with a USA Masters Degree in any field?
If USA does that, more people will pay to come to study in USA. Not go to Australia, UK etc to study. So more money to USA. And USA degree holders will be able to use this education and work in USA to improve USA economy. If they go back to their countries, then USA has brain drain.
