Well, if you carry international roaming - your number will roam with you. Isn't it that simple? Also, you can have vonage or skype and have like 10 numbers from different countries in skype.

Ramba, what are different levels? example, I found something similar on flc data center website. How can I know which level I am in to?

Good question - based on what I am reading on this forum, it seems to me like the RFE is requested for people who travel a lot in and out of the country. My wife has traveled a lot of times - I even lost track in the last 5 years - and she did tell me that they did not take her I-94. It would be still attached to the passport and when she enters back - if the travel time was less than 20 days, the officer discarded her new I-94 and asked her to keep the old I-94 - in some cases, he/she would just take it during entry. This happens mostly when she travels to Mexico or South America. The evidence that was being requested is the dates of travel and type of visa used to enter the country with the required documented evidence on the passport (color copy).
In my scenario, most of my stay in US, was limited to the stay period mentioned in my VISA though I-94 was given for longer period. There was one instance when I-94 date was given for a longer period than Visa expiry and I stayed till my i-94 date though visa expired. For this particular stay, when I look at the US Entry and Exit dates it would say as if I overstayed though legally allowed and only way to prove that would be the I-94 copy. I dont have the copy of that I-94...
Just kind of wondering how to handle this particular scenario... Any ideas/suggestions...

Well - these people get VIP treatment in prison - believe me - they get good food, drinks, entertainment, cell phones, cable tv, reading room and other things. They wont keep VIPs along with pickpockets and robbers.
Most of the VIP frauds actually continue their business operations or start new ventures when in jail and sometimes form new partnerships with like minded VIP frauds who are also in the same prison.
It is a haven for them.
After all the heat goes down and after few years they are released, no one cares - they may either settle in a beach house or continue with another fraud company or maybe enter politics.

along with all the great work being done by IV, I have to admit, the one annoying thing that we have to contend with is the wild speculative rumors that spread like wildfire... can people please stop spreading these and just wait a few hours for the announcement....

Called USCIS and opened a service request:
- over 30 days (July 2 filer), no biometric appointment for self and spouse
- Alien (A) number different on I-140 and I-485 for primary applicant (me)
- Got a referral number, call back if you don't hear from us within 45 days.
Customer Service rep could not provide any information about name check, etc. (Said IO will be able to provide that if they contact you... ).

I missed the train too. My PERM application was stuck in Atlanta which cleared in September. Sucks.. to be falling behind. I've contributed $200 to IV so far and will help IV in any way I can.

now atleast we are used to calling lawmakers. Why don't you meet the lawmakers, contact DOL etc.. make sure you have another job in hand and you can do the transfer paper work. As far as my knoweledge one can have 2 H1B at a time but can only work for one.

Yep. Paid Time Off (PTO) - This will allow me to get regular checks until PTO is exhausted.
Actually, my question is it LEGAL to work for the New employer (After filing H1B Transfer and getting the receipt) when on PTO (Paid Time Off) with current employer?

But, if you already have the receipt for the H1B transfer for the new job, why bother too much. Ask your employer if they would just pay your vacation time, and start the new job.
