Sats123, Chanduv23 is correct, also reading that with the paystubs you can avoid the employer letter saying that you work in such position and for such salary, finding out what position they used to file your labor (did you find it in the database on my previous post) and considering that you are about to get ripped off, it would be advisable that you go through that lawyer that someone was saying charges 1000 to file your papers and 500 for your spouse;

your degree certificate changed if you completed your degree in 2000 and gave some supplimentry exam in 2002, so you did not get Degree Certificate in 2000. You got it in 2002. That makes it 2002 Degree Holder and not 2000. That mean whatever supp subject you are saying was mandatory for Degree Completion.

For AP renewal, do I need to send photos by mail again? I thought USCIS uses the picture on file. Folks please correct me if I am wrong. Could some one PM me the letter format?

The point to be noted is that EB3 India was not commented upon i.e. EB3 Other Workers is different from EB3 India or EB3 ROW. I don't want to commit the deadly sin of predicting but there is hope that EB3 India might move albeit slowly :p

I spoke to a staff at Michael R. McNulty's office.
He comes to Albany on weekends only.
Rest of the time (5 days a week) he is in Washington.
We can meet staff members any time betwenn 9 to 5 (no appointment required).
Spoke to staff member at Schumer's office.
He is not available for a meeting.
Have set up a meeting (with staff) for 12th April 11am (nothing available for next 2 weeks).
I was actually just trying to find out if we could schedule an appointment with Schumer. Did not expect them to set up an appointment on the phone so fast.
We can change if this is not convenient.
I am not sure if this is gonna help, as it is 2 weeks away.
Please provide feedback.

2) Writing to Ombudsman.
Since no one in America does much of anything in December I am planning to start trying with congressmans office in mid Jan. I have to do something and try - I cant keep sitting hands folded. Or they will say quota is over before we know it - remember ROW is at 2005.
That's true that Dates becoming current does not necessarily ensure that someone will work on your case. Writing to Ombudsman might help (but not necessarily). There is a simple form, Form DHS-7001, fill it and send to Ombudsman (address to send to is on the form - you can search for the form). They forward it to your Service Center for an answer within 45 days. If your dates remain current for this 45 day period, there is a chance that your Service Center will look at your case. If not, Service Center may just wait until your dates are retrogressed again and send a standard reply that you are not current.
Taking an InfoPass might initiate some action too.
Best of luck....

Hi everyone,
I reviewed the text of the bill...and, to the best of my understanding, the Dream Act applies to both legal and illegal children. This bill is crucial for me. I am 27 years old and have been in the United States since age 1 (Yes, 26 years)...LEGALLY!!! My husband (i married another visa holder and changed my status about 5 years ago) and I have been pending for a greencard for about 2.5 years now (I'm not counting the other failed attempts)...and still no luck. I completed my bachelors degree in Psychology years ago and cannot work (my field of study is fairly common in the US...nobody I've come across was willing to sponsor for an h-1). Unfortunately, going back to my "home" county isn't an option for me because this is the only home I've ever known. Anyhow, I would really appreciate everyone's support...hopefully this piece of legislation can benefit people like myself and we can contribute to society as well. Thanks!! :)
