This is the number in red on your visa stamp in ur passport. Mine is 8-digits long. Even if ur visa stamp has expired you've to provide that number.

Today got the magic e-mail Card/ Document Production . Looks like the SR submitted 3 days back worked in my case. Prior to my SR the IO said that they don't have FP cleared, I called FBI and confirmed that they sent back my FP's and in my SR I request the IO to input the details that I got from FBI, Looks like that did the trick.

I am also July 2nd filer with no checks being cashed yet, and no other activities around my case. What can we do when the waiting period is over 90 days???
I believe, USCIS has a formal method of investigation. You or your lawyer will have to give details whatever USCIS asks for. In a normal course, this would have been done a lot sooner, but USCIS themselves admit that they are not yet finished with all July2-Aug17 receipts. Perhaps they will not entertain any formal investigations until they are done with all filings.
I am one of the July2 (J Barret, 10:25am) filers on the waiting, and I know the anxiety we all have. You can write to your Congressman, but think of how USCIS is going to respond to the intervention. They will tell that they are not yet finished with all receipts.

We need some numbers to back this up. I think you are saying EB2 will not become current even with the recaptured number. There is another thread for requesting numbers from USCIS about pending applications per category, per country. So, participate in that campaign as well.
We need the numbers. I would have guessed roughly 50% of pending 500K applications are from India, 50% of that is EB2, so recapture of 200K visas should help.
I am saying Recapture will only help EB2 and not EB3. Bcoz all the recaptured numbers will be used by EB2 first. So EB2 dates will move forward and then people with PD in 2007 and 2008 in EB2 will use up captured numbers and EB3 will still be waiting to get any leftovers.

Can anyone share their expert views on this scenario.
Say, I have approved I-140 (current PD) from employer A (never worked with). Work with employer B in a different. Now if employer A applies for I-485 and after it is pending for 6 months, Can I invoke AC21 to continue the GC process while still with employer B ?
Also is it possible to have 2 separate I-485 filed from different employers.
I have heard the above is possible. But, I am curious as to how AC21 is interpreted. Isn't AC21 essentially an instrument to change jobs without hampering the GC process. In this case since one is not 'really switching jobs' how will this be treated or possible ?

You can put any clauses in the contract as long as they are legal and the renter accepts it. But as 'albertpinto' said, beware of the people with bad credit and bankruptcy or people going through divorces - you may not want to rent them your property as it is very difficult to remove somebody (yes, even from your own house); it can take anywhere between 3 to 6 months and in the meantime, you are still liable to pay the mortgage if your renter defaults.
IMO, Only rent to people with good credit history.
Cant we put all these conditions in the contract? No modification to the house..only one family allowed..unless you want to rent it to bachelors and then charge whatever amount from each person and limit their number in the house..

Sept 15th - Lawyer's email - Not sure if this helped, But, exactly after this, it is assigned to IO.
Visa Numbers are out for Fiscal Year 2009.
Sept 22nd - infopass 2 - both apps with same officer, please wait
Sept 25th - FP notices arrived on 25th, with appointments for oct 21st,
Sept 29th - did a walk-in for FP at local ASC and got it done early. So, it clears the way for october.
Sept 30th - there was a hard LUD, may be coming out of FP uploading.
Got this reply from Senator on 29th.

With the limited amount of visas that are currently available between now and September 30, 2009, there is no guarantee that these cases can be completed before the end of FY2009. It is estimated, that in general, these cases will be completed between 45-90 days.

I agree the numbers seem to include dependents. I mean while looking at EB2 numbers you can see average 1000 - 1500 applications per month which translates to roughly 400 - 700 primary applications (labor) filed each month. That looks reasonable.

My app for I485/EAD/AP were sent by 2nd day air to Nebraska center on 04/24/07 and they received it on 04/25 (As per UPS tracking status). But, so far i have not received any receipt numbers for any of the apps for me or my spouse.
Another question, i got my I140 approved from Texas center although filed at NSC (premium processing). Will my I485 apps also be handled by Texas or they are independent?

Godbless, I am sure you can get your post 6 years H-1B extension based on the Cornin and new Aytes memo of 12-5-2006. Can you ask your lawyer whether it is possible to file your H-1B extension after 01/26/2007 but BEFORE June 2007 or it must be filed before the expiry of your parolee I-94? Also, you said the Immigration Officer at the POE did not let you use your H visa but the AP. Is it because you showed him both of your H-1B visa and AP? If you did not show the AP, he would probably let you enter with the H-1B visa, right?
Sorry for my knowledge but why would anyone need an AP if he has ample time left on H1 ? Is it a rule that after filing I-485 , you have to have an AP to travel ?

I dont care.. who cares these reds anyways.. Do the right thing.. We get reds all the time at work, game and everyhere.. I failed in two subjects in my 8th grade and lost a year.. Now I did my PhD from a top school in US.. Dont get cowed down..
These reds are sometimes to discourage efforts by some people whose interests differ from ours. I am not mad at anyone..
