Since I am older and wiser now, I can easily take them.
Yes, I must correct myself. It is not 525 (even though that is what the ever hurrying radio talk show hosts said).
That's even better. Percentage wise it is now 300/435. How about that?
I was away this morning for a big community project that I am involved in. I wanted to round that off with a morning brunch with the Congressman I quoted, but couldn't pull it off. I had met Mr. Mark Udall a couple of times in Friendship and Business Chamber get together in Denver, CO. He is a fine gentleman.
I prey his words come true at the earliest. Got to go. Have to mow the lawn, as per home minister/ interior secretary.
Bye. Ciao.
I have a quick question about Udall. He is the Boulder and Longmont representative and a Democrat. This gentleman though voted against S1932 (hope I got the December bill right) when it went to the house. Do correct me if I am wrong. That was an appropriations bill so his view on immigration may not directly be represented by his vote. Would you by any chance know where Udall himself stands on the whole issue.

I just came back from india. Flew via Frankfrut (Lufthansa). Lufthansa was bad. Frankfrut was dirty, no customer service, service Reps are rude. Next time I will avoid Frankfrut. AND I will not pay a dime for transit visa. period.
American airlines was trying to stop me boarding the plane as the CSR was not aware that if someone has AP they would not need transit visa in Frankfrut. I had to fight and make them call Frankfrut to confirm.
Might not be pertinent but American Airlines food was horrible and tasteless. They were running out of food.

I somhow feel that Name Check problem has not been taken care of within its entirety. I agree with one thing that NC will be "improved" but has not been and will never be streamlined the way actually it should be.

I may be wrong but my doubts are as under:
------------------------------------------
(1)180 days period is from the "Date of FBI Name Check initiation. It is not
from 485 receipt date. Nobody knows when USCIS will initiate FBI Name
Check. So I see a big playground for USCIS to play if it decides to play.
What if uSCIS sends FBI name check initiation after 2 years of 485 receipt?
Do we have a way to know or keep an eye on USCIS about this? At least I
do not know and if somebody has the information please share it.
(2) "If 485 Otherwise is processable" then USCIS can go ahead without
waiting for NC check... What if USCIS decides to keep 100000 cases on
rack eating dust just by not moving the processing date for particular
service center? This you can see right now.. USCIS is making Texas slow
day by day not moving processing date. I remember Texas was ahead
with comparison to Nebraska around May to August 2007. If this happens your case is no more "processable".. Yes you can say that you are not stuck in NC queue but you will be stuck. USCIS may come up with altogether different startegy... To align processing times with FBI processing and FBI NC initiation. That may screw the things further.
Expert or differed opinions please?

Could you please update your profile with the dates so that it helps others.
Since you wrote Dec 01 as your date and you are still pending, we can use such number of people info for advocacy purposes to show that despite the date advances/current for some people, they still do not have the approval. We have created IV tracker and this profile info fields for such purposes and thus urge everyone to keep their profiles updated. If you find someone with incomplete or fake profile, please politely urge them to update it or just ask them to write N/A so that we can help each other in fixing the immigration problem.
Thanks

[QUOTE=macaca]USCIS has F1 file. If it illegal to apply for PERM while on F1, why did USCIS not reject PERM?

Oh Wow.... Learn how to use the equipment. Stop thinking just because you bought it you will be a better photographer. If you look through your images and if one, just one, photo is in focus, the problem is you. PERIOD A camera can't focus on air - so in order for the "50% of the time" images that are in focus to be in focus - the camera must be doing its job. Learn the focus lock and how to set it. Or go to manual focus.
I have been a photographer 44 years. I have exhibited around the world; my images have been used in well over a thousand publications. I still use my 8"x10" mahogany and brass camera. I've used Nikons since 1968, have owned about 50 of them. And you're telling me to learn how to use my equipment? Jumping to a bit of a conclusion, aren't you?
